Another Day, Another Dollar?

Not...

Graduating in December has left me broke.

I'm subbing now or so that was the plan.

The Plan:

Sub, get my name out, apply to the surrounding districts.

NOT WORKING!

The plan is not working because I am not working. Last Friday I got over 10 sub calls and this week I have not had ANY. A teacher I know from my student teaching campus called in sick for tomorrow. Thank.The.Lord. I am so excited to get to see those little pumpkins tomorrow and just to get out of this apartment. I am starting to think I am going to have to take on a noneducational job just to make ends meet. Sheesh.

On a happier note:

I made spaghetti tonight so I have something to take for lunch tomorrow, and... I made muffins! Not for lunch but for breakfast. DUH! They are some kinda good and really easy to make. There are two different brands:

Marth White - 1/2 cup of milk

Betty Crocker - 1/2 cup of water

(which is SUPER DUPER when you're on a budget (have no $).

Picked both these babies up at Wal-Mart yesterday and now my fiancée, Greg, and I are in love - with the muffins! We like to get at least one new thing to try from Wal-mart each time we go. This time it was a success!

I Never Thought...

I never thought I would be:

1. Creating a blog. It's going to take me a while to learn this stuff, but after spending hours on other teachers blogs, I have been inspired to create my own. I only hope someday mine can compare.

2. Moving to Granbury, Texas, but the more I think about it, the more I am getting use to the idea.

3. JOBLESS. After hours and hours of filling out applications in a totally different region, I now have to fill out (a billion) more because we are moving. However, I am excited about Greg's new job!

4. Wishing I was still student teaching. The bottom line: I miss the kiddos!
